Digital Amputations Due To Upper Extremity Injuries: A Retrospective Analysis of Patients Presenting To The Emergency Department

This study aimed to examine the characteristics of traumatic minor digital amputations in patients presenting emergency department, who were candidates for replantation and revascularization discuss clinical outcomes these patients. Upper extremity total/subtotal amputation cases Private Erzurum Buhara Hospital department between January 1, 2018, 2021, retrospectively evaluated. The demographic characteristics, occupational status, etiology type injury, localization level time arrive at hospital undergo surgery, length stay, survival recorded a total 134 Of patients, 88.1% male, mean age was 36.45±20.87 years. It found that, 71.6% all 75.9% pediatric alone.
